All contest entries become the property of Beacon Enterprizes, LLC, its owner(s), agents, and successors.

This means, but is not limited to mean, that you grant Beacon Enterprizes LLC, its owner(s) and affiliates an exclusive, irrevocable, world-wide right to to publish, distribute, copy, or use in any manner, in whole or in part, any content you submit to this contest.

You must hold the copyright for the entry at the time of entry. Once entered into the contest, the copyright becomes the property of Beacon Enterprizes, LLC, its owners(s), agents, and successors.

You must have written the entry yourself. (you are allowed to receive feedback and editing from others).

Entrance into the contest is full and complete consideration for the grants listed above.

Beacon Enterprizes,LLC reserves the right to cancel or modify this contest at any time for any reason and to disqualify those entries that do not conform to the terms listed on this page, do not conform to the Terms and Conditions posted on the website www.promotethegood.com, do not meet the spirit of the promotethegood.com website or this contest, or that are pornographic, defamatory, or of ill taste, or that contain illegal content.

By submitting your writing to this contest you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Contest Rules

• Poems, essays, and short stories may be submitted.
• Each person may enter multiple original entries.
• Entries may be submitted between January 15th - January 29th. All entries MUST BE received by 11:59 PM Mountain Standard Time on January 29th.
• All entries MUST BE submitted using the official link that will appear on this page. Entries submitted any other way are not eligible for the contest.
• You must be logged into this site to enter. Register Here.

Judging
Finalists are determined through voting by readers. To vote, readers go to the entry webpage and click “like”. Viewers need to be careful, because double clicking could cause their vote to become “unlike”, and thus remove their vote. In such a case, a reader can simply click “like” again to register his or her vote. A reader's vote MUST be set to “like” after the contest theme is announced and by 11:59 PM MST on February 5th, 2011.

The author of a contest submission is welcome and encouraged to vote for his or her own entries.

No submissions are allowed after 11:59 PM MST on January 29th, 2011. No voting is allowed after 11:59 PM MST on January 29th, 2011.

After 11:59 PM MST on February 5th, 2011, all entries will be temporally hidden from view until the official results of voting have been tabulated.

The top entries based on number of votes from registered users will be judged by one or more judges as determined by Beacon Enterprizes, LLC. The decision of the judge or judges is final. Finalists and Winners will be announced on KUTA TV and on PromoteTheGood.com.


Awards
The winning entry will:

• Be announced on KUTA TV.
• Receive one month (four 45 minute sessions) of professional coaching toward creating the life you'd love to have! Coaching will be provided by I.C.E. Quest. www.ice-quest.com.

Also, dependent on the entry of 30 submissions, the winning entry will receive $100 prize and will be able to elect the approved non-profit of their choice to receive a $100 donation from Beacon Enterprizes, LLC.

Free gift for entering:
Each person who submits an entry to this contest will receive a free gift. The free gift will be sent via email to the entrant within one week of the contest completion date. Only one gift per person regardless of the number of entries submitted.
